Why You Shouldn't Sign a Breast...or any other body part

I was talking to rapper Ice Cube one time, and told him I thought about bringing an empty ice cube tray to have him autograph. He looked at me like I was nuts, but hey...I think sometimes things like that are more interesting. Wouldn’t it be cool to have Willie Nelson’s autograph on a package of rolling papers? Anyway, I asked Ice (that’s what his friends call him) what the weirdest thing was he’s ever signed. He got this big grin and said, “Ti**ies!”

I was laughing about that as I told my wife the story the other day and she said, "What musician hasn’t signed boobs?”

Probably true, and something I hadn’t really contemplated before.

Well now, TMZ is running a story about a woman that is claiming porn star Ron Jeremy sexually assaulted her (no, she wasn’t in one of his movies).

This is going to civil court in Washington State, from an incident that allegedly took place in September of 2017. That incident had been criminally investigated earlier this year, but so far, the authorities haven’t charged Mr. Jeremy with anything. I’m guessing one of the reasons the Tacoma City Attorney’s Office declined to file charges...is because of an autograph. He signed her breasts. It’s probably hard to convince a jury that somebody was inappropriate with you, when you whipped out a body part for him to autograph.

She’s a model and was doing a promotional event at a radio station. She claimed that she “agreed” to let Jeremy sign her breasts but instead, he pulled down her shirt and reached under her bra and “violently groped” her breast.

What might hurt Jeremy's case is a tweet he had. It said something along the lines of "If you ask me to sign you're boob, I'm going to take it out, feel it, and touch it, and look at it. If that's not your thing, don't ask me to sign it."

Anyway, this model went on to say he squeezed her backside during a selfie, and sucked the back of her neck. The last thing he supposedly did, involved his fingers going under her dress and asking “Did that give you goosebumps?”

She said that the person with Jeremy tried to stop him, but to no avail. Instead, he then pulled her shirt down and licked her breast.

The woman is claiming she suffered PTSD since then. I kind of believe that, because...when I was in 10th grade I saw one of his movies, and I think it gave me PTSD just watching that dude. I still have nightmares about him.

She also claims a miscarriage she had is due to this stress and she’s suing for damages.

I think in this era of #metoo, even porn stars should watch what they do when it comes to autographs and photos.

I have a female friend that told me a decade ago, about how Charlie Rose grabbed her butt during a selfie. I didn’t believe her at the time, until all the other stories came out about him.

Senator (and former SNL writer) Al Frankin had to resign because he groped women during various photos.

It’s something they should all consider.

So this TV host, before becoming a national sports show host with Fox, used to be a sports writer for several years with the Kansas City Star. He was a very good writer and often wrote very thought-provoking and sometimes controversial articles for the KC Star. So one time when I was listening to a local sports radio show in KC, a caller called in to tell a funny story about this particular journalist. The caller said that the journalist was at some type of local event in KC with some local celebrities when a girl yelled out, “Hey can I get your autograph?” So the journalist went over to the girl who proceeded to lift up her shirt and asked him to sign her boob. So journalist, being the friendly guy that he is, grabbed the girl’s breast and signed his name. As the writer was signing her boob, the caller to the talk show said he yelled out to the writer, “Hey man, that’s my sister...she’s only 15!” The caller said the journalist immediately dropped the marker and started running, which is funny in itself because this guy is a very big guy who doesn’t appear to run a lot. Anyway, the caller said his story was really true. It was his sister, and she was only 15. But the caller said neither he nor his sister were upset about it. After all, she asked the journalist to do it, and she was pretty endowed and didn’t look that young. And the caller just laughed about it as he retold the story. He thought the image of this large man dropping the pen and running was priceless. Of course, in this day and age, you better get ID before you sign those boobs!

Comment by Josh Board on June 29, 2018 at 3:38pm: That's a great story James. I did think of something while reading it. What is this need to GRAB the breast and hold it? Wouldn't you just take the Sharpie and sign it? If it's a bit messy, so be it. You're not signing some official document, where you need to hold the paper down. Now...I'm guessing in this day and age, it's just safer for stars to say "Nah, I can't sign body parts anymore. Well...unless you promise to have it tattooed on!"

Comment by James on June 29, 2018 at 10:41pm: I’m inclined to agree with you. Grabbing the breast is just taking advantage of the situation, unless you were invited, asked or told to do so.

One more thing...I should have used the more polite and official body part term, breast up above, instead of the cruder nickname. After all, this isn’t a frat party.

Comment by michael bartow on July 23, 2018 at 11:30am: being a nascar fan I have heard of fans asking drivers to sign a body part like a arm or in one case a fake leg but these folks turn around in the one case a tattoo artist inks the drivers signature onto the persons arm and I bet these folks show everybody look I got a signature from a driver and beat there chest. I agree with you that in this day and age you have to be very, very careful with females anymore. Look at the movie Talladega nights when Will Ferrell was signing autographs and the one blond chick says hey driver have a look at these. what does he say I hope she's above the age. I also agree its better to tell fans no body parts and save yourself the issues of someone saying well he groped me or touch me inappropriate while he did it.

A guy runs to the limo, asks for an autograph, and has his junk hanging in the limo window for him to sign. It was....an amazingly hysterical scene. I don't know how the guy kept a straight face filming it.
