Elvis Presley - 5 x 7 signed Expert Opinions ?

Just saw someone's recent Elvis post and thought I would add mine to a discussion. This came directly from Perry Cox, obviously, a highly reputable source. A COA from Perry as well. I've always felt the signature (on a 5 x 7 magazine page) was a little too shaky, with stops-and-starts and it concerned me at the time. However, given Perry's confidence and assurance, I couldn't pass up the opportunity to purchase it. I remember that Perry had explained to me, at that time, that Elvis went through some periods of being in an "altered state" and that could possibly explain it's shakiness. Just wanted to see if any of you with more experience than I in this area than I had any opinions on this. Thanks and I look forward to hearing from you...

Was a my opinion... For consola and other expert was genuine 100%... And also for many respect auctions... I don't like it and i sold it... Simply!

Is Rich Consola considered the best or Roger? Just asking because there is an Elvis Facebook group that post autographs for opinions or for sale. One member posted a signed menu that was authenticated by Consola (so he says). I wouldnt have bought it myself.

I personally don't know which one is better.
I do know Roger has a very long history of studying Elvis

In the end, it depends on the buyer's eye IMO

If I need to be convinced to buy something through a sales pitch, then that's not an item I would purchase.

But I tell ya what.... I would take Rich Consola's opinion over Tiziano's any day of the week hahaha ;)

rich is supposed to be the expert as from my understanding he only authenticates elvis, . You can get a q op from him for about $30 but like the Royal family he doesnt engage in chit chat .

With all this back and forth everything comes down to this. Who do you trust? Personally, I listen to all opinions but the one that counts at the end of the road is mine. It's my money and I value it. Before I buy I am convinced it's real or my money stays in my pocket. Am I ever wrong? You bet! But the biggest mistake is taking someone's else word as the gospel. As my drill sergeant would say, " Opinions are like a_ _ holes, everyone has one".

Autograph collecting is a wonderful hobby but it's a dirty business.

Perfect joe w. I think the same things but the other people don't understand it... a person should treat every autograph as false and find all the outcry to reveal the contrary ... like a police inspector ...

A good example of an authenticator who sells autographs to give his own stuff the benefit of the doubt. If this were not the seller’s item do you think he passes it? I’m not so sure he would.

I wouldn’t buy this just off the signature alone.
