I have a question for everyone.

I've been noticing that the buy&sell section is skipping a step.

That step for me is an important one.

And that is that an item be posted in the authenticity section first for members to give their opinion and make sure it's legit before if goes up for sale

So my question is this...

Should this rule be enforced? (FYI...it actually is a rule by our leader Steve Cyrkin)

I do think that an image of the autograph needs to be included. I have noticed the Steve is quick to step in if there seems to be a possible issue with the signature.

I always think an imiage of the itiem for sale should be posted .what are u hiding and don't say u don't want people to copy the signature its 2000s that doesn't hold water .

I still say put ur price out if its a starting great but atleast it saves time going back and forth and transparent

u know what u will take for it

if u want to hold a make an offer type go to ebay

Item photo should be mandatory for sure and a close up of the signature would be nice

The reason I'm bringing this up, is because I have noticed some items for sale, but I don't know the member.
This is why I prefer the screening process.

It's a good preventative measure IMO

yup I always shot a full image shot and a close up of the signature see the brian willson I just put up. its very important if ur not trying to hid anything

I still say put a price ive had people ask me if im flexable on price wich is fine or if I buy a few things can u do better on the price but its very transparent this way

also if ur a repeat customer I always try to work with u. but this way its up fron and everyone can see

You do present your items well

Joe does a fine job too

Most presentations are pretty good in the B&S arena

I don't think anyone here has a problem asking about the price if they are interested. Including a price is fine or not, imo. The main concern should be the ability to see the autograph and the item. Price is usually settled between the parties one way or another.

I have found the buy & sell group here one the the safest places to purchase autographs anywhere. I have purchased quite a number of autographs on this site without any noticeable concerns. I'm shocked more members don't utilize it.

I have also purchased from members who join simply to sell an item. Never had a problem with any of them except the one case which I had to file a Paypal dispute to get my money back. I don't have a problem with a new member selling something. I gotten several very nice items from them.
