Hi I need some advice on this MARY PICKFORD 1918 Signed Photo Please*

I recently purchased this 1918 Signed Mary Pickford, I matched it to known stamped signatures of the same picture, and I could see some differences that mine could slimly be a signature, but am not totally sure. The previous owner did not bother to try to authenticate. I’m leaning towards that mine is stamped though, any opinions are most certainly welcome (it is a nicely preserved photo of the era)

Can you provide an example of the known stamped signature on this same photo?

Here is a copy of a known facsimile/stamped copy. I could not find the other example of another photo with a full view of the sig, I hope this assists you although I will search the other one in meantime if I can locate it,(I should have screen shot it

Have you tried Tineye?

It will help you find examples of the exact photo elsewhere on the Internet.

Honestly, these both appear stamped although yours has been better preserved. Mary Pickford used a stamp frequently. Even on album pages.

Wish it was better news my friend. Still, it's a nice photo.

Hey that’s ok, I still have a great pic from the era and that’s ok with me

since I have a authentic Mary Pickford, I thought that I would try out my new photo editor, for what it's worth.

I like that! I would like it known I am in the market for a Pickford signature

I appreciate that. I thought it might be a little cheesy and was hesitant to post it.  I have a total of about 60 signatures that my grandfather had brought home after his time in WWII from The Hollywood Canteen. He was part of the Fighting Seabees and stationed down there in that area. The Mary Pickford signature has a Rod Cameron signature below it. These have been kept in airtight conditions away from the sunlight and are in really great shape as the others are also. He got a lot of great signatures during that time. I'm still trying to figure out a few of them but only have about four or five left to identify. the downside to these two signatures is the fact that it looks like my grandfather had gotten them signed, only to fold it up and put it in his pocket. They're the only signatures that have been folded out of the 60. They also are in pencil which I know affects the value although these are still very bright and bold signatures.
