Hi, i'm looking for member opinions on this Lennon autograph.
I am considering buying this Lennon autograph. It costs EUR1200 in a Beatles shop.
Thanks and regards...

But it is not authentic. I do not know what a genuine example would cost - again, not my area. The collector seeking to purchase a Lennon ought to know what they are looking at spending IMHO.

why do you think that it is not authentic?
The provider gives warranty.
Where else should one buy real autographs?

That would actually be pretty INexpensive for a Lennon.  A lot of times it’s not too easy to find even cuts like yours for under $2000 USD, probably about EUR1800, although they seem to be slightly less expensive in the UK.

I have a signed Penguin book.  One very similar to mine sold about 5 years ago for $4400.

So if you can find a real Lennon cut for EUR1200 that would be a bargain, I think.

There are a lot of starts and stops, it seems hesitant, and it appears to be a copy of the apparently well known example on the Pan Am postcard. It also has what I call "that look" - a clean, undedicated signature, often slightly hesitant or other, with no apparent age cut from what(?) that is perfect for matting in terms of margins. No way would I consider this. I also think it is too cheap,, especially if that date window is correct (early), but it's not my area.

Thanks James, Thanks Eric

Maybe I will buy the autograph.
There is warranty. I'll check it.
If it's not real, I'll get my money back.

Why not wait for a few more opinions? I think you are making a mistake. See what others say.

I hope you use PayPal.  Or I suppose a credit card gives you protection as well.  Sellers can make all sorts of promises, but then not follow through on them.

I personally get the autograph and fill out a contract.
I have a little experience in it.

Another similar

I would wait for someone like Ballroom to come in.

Ok, i make it and wait to Ballroom. Thanks Eric :-)

You are welcome. I have already messaged Ballroom - hopefully he will chime in :)

I just don't want to see you make a mistake and buy a problem item. Seeing a guarantee and actually getting your money back into your purse can sometimes be two different things.
