Ok collector....feast your eyes on this absolute mess....as we all know "The splendid splinter" and "The yankee clipper" are highly saute after autos in the baseball collector's world...this particular piece sold for $118.15 with 14 bids at auction...now whoever purchased this unfortunately did no do the research of authentic exemplars of Williams and Dimaggio what so ever on this item and purchased a really horrible piece...in my opinion an authentic Williams and Dimaggio autographed photo should be ruffly in the $300.00 - $350.00 range...that being said a collector should know that in know way shape or form did they just receive an authentic piece at that $118.50 price...but what really should have put a red flag up in any bidders mind on this piece is the cert. in the photo on the bottom...now is it just me or does it look like the same guy that forged those signatures added the description on the cert with the same marker ? Its just a real shame...feel free to leave comments on this...and please novice autograph collectors....do your homework !!!!!
