Can someone help me on this, is it real?

I have never seen one like this.

This is Michael's signature style from the early to mid 1980's.

If you research his autograph from this time period (1982-83), you'll find it's typical.

From what I can see of Sam Perkins auto, I'd say it's also typical for the period.

If you believe this to be vintage from when he was younger, then why are you asking if it is real.  You already believe it to be.

I wasn't the one asking if it was real.

LYNN was the one who started this discussion, and I responded with my opinion.

My apologies, I thought you were the original poster.

Not a problem.

It's funny how you see that a lot.

Or when everyone says an autograph is not real, and the person argues how it is....

than why'd you ask? LOL

You are exactly right, there seems to be a lot of attempted “gotcha”.

Thanks for the new information sir. I am also hunting a Jordan and while I couldn’t be sure, I had thought I had seen that. A fellow collector on this board shared a beautiful Jordan signed napkin that looked pretty close to this. I love how you can see parts of almost every letter. This is the type of autograph style I would want from him.

I saw that napkin on here - beautiful vintage autograph.

If you're looking for that style, where you can read every letter,

you'll want to search from his UNC days until about 1988-89.
