Hello

I'm sure this is ok, but would appreciate an opinion of a Freddie expert. Many thanks

The more i research it, the more I'm convinced. As i mentioned before, it was part of a huge collection from the '70s and others from this collection appeared genuine.

Here's another with similar characteristics.

Roger will be glad to hear that.

I purchased it before i got an answer from Roger. I was confident of a positive outcome. I had to move fast to close the deal.

I’d lean towards not authentic personally.

Also you mention it’s from a 70’s collection.  The photograph is from the ‘Princes of the Universe’ video shoot which is 1986.  Are you saying that was added later?

Either way I would not feel comfortable with it in my collection.

There was no date, so I can't confirm.

Roger Epperson is the best in the business. I'm quite certain it's authentic. Thanks for sharing your opinion.

This also came from the collection. There was 200 in total they all looked good.

Looking back at the details, it does say 60s 70s and behond, so it could have been signed then or the photo could have been added much later.

I appreciate autograph collecting can be subjective, and opinions may differ. I trust Roger Epperson and his focus is on music autographs and he does it for a living. I also studied the autograph over a few days. Probably 20 hours in total, and couldn't cone up with anything that shouted "red flag"

Here is another from the collection

It's atypical due to being rushed and it's during his late 70s to early 80s transitional style. Your item is fine. The other pieces look ok to you too, you're in the clear. This is a 1980 below. Safe to say yours is OK and rushed. I try to play it safe and stick to a "avoid if odd or atypical" these days but I'm confident this is just a rushed transitional piece. DDIE on the second photo is within the ballpark too. Another from early 80s.

Thanks innuendo for your expertise and samplers. I notice a small kink near the Y on a lot of his autos. Yours have it and so does mine.

Lovely examples.

Nice Jagger and Richards!

Thanks Joe

It could well be a very rushed atypical example.  Looks too stiff and contrived for me.  I’d always have my doubts about it.

Epperson is great at what he does and I respect his opinion but when it comes to Queen let’s just say there is room for improvement.  I’m speaking from someone who has studied Queen and Queen only for over 20 years and have bought and sold dozens over the years.

You’ve bought an excellent collection by the looks of things.  Good luck with it :-).
