nice point bud!!! i didn’t even look at the guys other stuff
how can u tell a fake sticker from a real one? Are PSA the only ones out there?
I don’t know if that’s possible just by comparing stickers. You have to look at the other factors as well. I’m not sure if it’s only happening with PSA stickers, but I’m not aware of any others.
PSA would seem to be the easiest one to do one of these fakes with. Both Beckett and JSA supply a photo of the item on their verification number lookup. There is no photo accompanying a PSA entry in their verification database.
It's not totally secure, but there is at least an extra layer with the photos posted by JSA and Beckett.
It’s actually just some of the entires that don’t contain an image, so they have to find and use those.
Now that I did not know. I've not had a PSA cert'd one that had a photo in the entry, at least that I can recall. Is there a certain $ value level that qualifies one to have an image?
I’m not sure. That said, there definitely are Elton John and Macca signed LPs with images in the certification database. However, the two cert numbers mentioned in this discussion have no image in the database for some reason.
