Regarding the White House admittance card, Everett Sanders held the position of Secretary to the President between March 1925 and March 1929, under the second term in office of President Calvin Coolidge.  That narrows down the time period, but doesn’t help a great deal because, presumably, a huge number of people would have met with the President during that four-year period, for all manner of reasons.  It may not have been anyone famous then, or anyone remembered today.  It could have been a journalist, or anyone really.  Unless someone here recognises the signature, you’ll need a precise date and a good deal of research to stand any chance of finding out who visited Coolidge on that particular day.

I actually don't think it's a signature at all.  I think its the name of the recipient/guest and then a "0" to show that they weren't bringing anyone with them.

It's a neat bit of White House ephemera, though.

That crossed my mind also, and could very well be the case.  The zero is definitely to indicate no additional guests.  As for the ‘signature’, I would expect that, if it were written by a White House employee, for identification purposes, it would be more legible than it is.  The only thing that makes me suspect it may have been written by the guest themselves is the stylised nature of the handwriting.  Without a date, cross-referenced with White House records, we’ll likely never know.

+1, I cross referenced the signature with all of Coolidge staff and nothing comes close.

Thank you

Thank you so much brother
