although they seem to have the following information on their "resident" authenticator on many items so perhaps I have answered my own question;;

"This "item" has been authenticated by Mr. Chris Morales... Mr. Morales is a former Secret Service Agent with 20 years of real world experience in this field, with a double Masters from George Washington University including one in Forensic Science......There is no one in the industry with these high of credentials and experience .... He was featured in Sports Collectors Digest...."Authenticating the Authenticator's"....He is a "Court and Board Certified Forensic Authenticator"... and is recognized as such by any Court in the nation.... Mr. Morales can and will testify as an expert in any court of law as to the authenticity of this item if the item is ever claimed to be questionable by any of the other so called "Non Certified Opinionators"...(PSA/DNA..GAI...JSA....etc). Item will be accompanied by a registered and notarized legal document from Mr. Morales. Shipping charge is $2.50 to 12.50 depending on weight... Item must be paid in 7 days after auction closes... Cashiers Check, Money Order , Personal Check, Paypal or any Major Credit Card is acceptable"

I thought I read that he is considered by a court on a case to case basis and has only been called on but a few times.  And, in the one case that involved memoribillia wasn't he impeached as a memoribillia expert?

Oh the above one is an elvis but there are dozens of other and those that don't have a "forensic COA from morales" are offered a referral to him from the auction site.

Although it's refreshing that that are also bonded BuySafe / Trusted Merchants.. This means that every transaction is insured to the customers satisfaction through Liberty Mutual Insurance for up to $25,000.00* ..this service is only offered to a select few of reputable dealers and our operation is regularly monitored and inspected by them & We are also bonded BuySafe / Trusted Merchants..  & are also a proud member of the York County Chamber of Commerce.

I wonder what liberty mutual thinks of the situation but you can alwys get a certificate of insurance first then Trust but Verify.

Although I do find the post script rather odd.

PS James Shelton has not worked for me at this store for 2 years...He is not affiliated with this business at all...No matter what he says ...Do Not Believe Him !!!

This has to be the most hilarious quote ever that he used Frangipani examples...its a known fact that Frangipani examples came from Stevey Wonders autograph examples....LOL

well, well, well, how some duck for cover!

Not only is the BuySafe bonded merchant claim no longer present on their web site but apparently fraudulent use without the knowledge of Liberty Mutual's name and insurance safeguards have also been deleted.

odd, though when I checked buySafe "again" they have' and listed here for posterity:

valid buySAFE Seal

seal validThis website: http://www.signaturedreams.com/info.html is a buySAFE merchant in good standing and the buySAFE seal on this site is valid.

When you see a valid buySAFE Seal you can feel confident that the seller you are dealing with is a reliable and trustworthy merchant.

but list the following albeit changed from the original posting;  All items come with a 30 day money back guarantee. Authentication services provided by Court Certified Examiner: Chris Morales.

I feel much safer now! Isn't just amazing how good news spreads so fast.

Nice catch, DB.  I guess they must have "caught wind" of this thread.  Nice.

Indeed, indeed or as one movie song goes, "the heat is on"

maybe sharpie & his pogo the Klown posse can write about this one in breaking news...

And Chris with the WWW it's hard to cover all the bases...

They've been going for quite a number of years since I first discovered Christopher Morales there.  Unbelievable.

I wonder if people can spell PERJURY & for FRAUDULENT purposes....

Reminds me in a very sad way of Stan's Sporting Goods (also in PA come to think of it!)

and three more that Cee Gee would put in the bogus category;

with links to Cee Gee's postings from all places Signature Dreams;

& if you don't feel like jumping to the pages;

those Ted Williams are just hideous...

well at least they won't be able to knowingly tout they are a member of Buy-Safe except perhaps fraudulently.

word on the vine; BuySafe restricted access to the account so that it could not be reactivated without a full review

and I muse should they be foolish enough to request with their current inventories I suspect the bonding insurers are going to take an extra long look.
