Hi -- posted the picture above.

It is on Bonanza, which has a bunch of vendor stuff that is suspect.

This Shaw did look more reasonable than the one I sent last week, but no reputable authentication (which I know is not full proof, but some piece of mind).  Price on this at least feels like it could be real.  It is from Planet Autographs (if you know of them either way ...pos or neg).

Any help greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Never heard of them. Im not familiar with bonanza. I did have a look thru their inventory. Some items look good. 1st glance at the Rick Moranis looks good to me. Its been about 2 years since ive thoroughly researched his though.. but there are others, Heath Ledger GAI certified that looks bad. Im wondering how he obtains his items but, either way, you shouldn't base opinions off of other items.. you can never have 100% trust in any seller. Even the most trusted sellers can make mistakes..

Looking at just the autograph, after going through known good examples the other day, this one is lacking qualities id look for in one Id want to buy. Like an unfinished "h".. I would want the "obert" to be more curvy or (loopy) and other small details.. I would not be comfortable with this one. If it were me, id need there to be no doubt at all at this price. But I really still need more research on his autograph over his entire career. This is just a gut feeling opinion based on what little I've learned so far

Thanks Jason.  Really helpful again.  I saw similar things when looking at his particular inventory, but I'm so novice ... But some did look good and , as you date, others not so good.  Yes, at this price, I want to feel certain.... Or as certain as I can.... I will continue to gather some facts here.

A good looking and validated Shaw index card just came on eBay, but it's $1100....I want a pic or poster for that kind of loot.

Thank you for the patience and time you (and others on here) take to answer questions.

that is a lot of money, but yes dont buy unless you, and others, are 100% certain. Maybe talk to the seller and see if he would be willing to negotiate.. could be a lot of deals out there when the recession hits. People will start to unload. Be patient on this one

Will do Jason.  And agree on your stance here.

You've been great to trade notes with.

Talk soon!

Not signed by Shaw, IMO.

Thanks Joe.  I am/was hesitant myself.  Appreciate your perspective here.
