Shakira Signed CD Booklet Help Needed
I took a chance on this signed booklet about a year ago and have been sitting on it ever since. Going back and forth every month and leaving it undecided, leaving time for it to simmer in my head before going back to it again and again. Ive finally decided to see what others think on here, otherwise it will just continue to be a giant question mark in my collection.
My thoughts have never changed that I do like the signature, but what is perplexing me is the inscription. It has a lot of issues. I was close to writing this one off based solely on the inscription at one point but noticed that the writing on the inscription is a bit thicker than the signature. It seems it was possibly signed with a different marker or just a slower pace with more pressure. But why would someone add an inscription in this way? And why would there be strange marks that look like attempted corrections within the inscription?
Ive tried to take the best pictures I could but the difference between the inscription and signature doesn't pop like it does in person. While everyone is trying to take off inscriptions, is it possible someone actually added one on here? Or have I just been spending the last year overthinking this one.

I liked it upon first view but the more I look at this the more it looks off to me. It almost seems too perfectly signed but the top part is mostly right. I think it could be real but like you I'm a little unsure and the inscription is not something I've seen from her before.

Ive been comparing this to as many known good examples as I can find. The more I search, the more undecided I become and feel like I've dug myself into a hole. I've seen too many and I know I'm overthinking at this point.. I welcome all outside opinions. Even if everyone else is undecided too. At least ill know I'm not crazy. As for the signature, aside from the inscription, I still feel the good parts outweigh the questionable but I still agree with you, and its why I keep playing yo-yo with this one. Thanks for trying to help.

I agree with you, I looked at about another 20 examples and the good is definitely outweighing the bad but it just seems off for some reason. Usually you look at something and know quickly it's good or bad but this keeps swinging from good to bad. You're definitely not crazy and I only hope others may be able to give opinions
