Steve Mcqueen - Real or not

Hi Everyone,

Hope you are all looking forward to Christmas !

I am interested in buying this letter signed by Steve McQueen.

I have looked at other examples and Steve looks to have a few different signatures or there are lots of forgeries around.

This letter is listed at £750 and if it does not sell, I will offer a lot lower as I have purchased items from this seller before.

Buy....the big question is.....Real or not

Secretarial, IMO.

I wouldn't claim to be an expert on Steve's autograph but this just screams secretarial. Would he really go to the effort of signing such a banal letter? Perhaps if he knew the recipient well it might be different but then it would probably be "To Gordon" and be worded less formally. If it doesn't sell at £750 you will know for sure that it is secretarial. £750 is far too cheap for a real McQueen.
