NEWLY SURFACED LENNON SIGNED IMAGINE ALBUM???

What's your opinions on this Lennon autographed IMAGINE album from WFIL?

I believe it's AUTHENTIC. That would make it one only 12? Known to exist. I used to own one and sold it at GOTTAHAVEROCKANDROLL auctions. This has probably one of the best placed signatures I've seen on an IMAGINE album. It also has the doodle and the year, which is rare for WFIL. I only know of a few others with the doodle.

I feel it is very similar to this WFIL signed TWO VIRGINS.

Pictured is another from WFIL with the doodle and year which looks like it reads 78 but its 75.

Also pictured is a 1975 test press album inner sleeve signed by John. Pretty similar doodle and date formations.

I like the fact it has the doodle and year which is SPOT ON to my eyes. It gives more forensics for you to look at other than an autograph which can be practiced over and over.

So you only trust your opinion and Frank Caiazzo's?

WFIL Man,

You have said many times that the only Beatles experts whose eyes you trust are yours and Frank Caiazzo's. That means that if Frank said that a Lennon you sold is not real you'll refund the buyer's money, right?

WFIL Man,

Why aren't you replying? If Frank Caiazzo, the only eyes you said you trust besides yours, said that a Lennon you sold is not real will you refund the buyer's money?

Servi,

Something I realized is that since you're in Europe, you may not see third-party authentication as we do. It has made a huge difference in the safety of buying autographs here.

Quick opinions are not full authentication and are not represented to be by any reputable TPA I know. They are what they are called: quick opinions. They are not even called authentication.

Authentication of a set of Beatles is hundreds of dollars. Why would you expect a $15 opinion to be similarly reliable?

Perry Cox guarantees the authenticity of everything he sells, so if he makes a mistake he gives the customer their money back.

Tracks is top-notch. Paul and Jason are great people.

Hello...WFIL Man? Does your silence mean that once someone buys an autograph from you they have ZERO recourse if they find out it's fake?

I was wondering how many genuine Lennon autographs you managed to find bearing in mind you felt that there could  be  as many as 3,000 in existence from  WFIL radio station?

> Because it is stated that John Lennon met 3,000 people at the WFIL Radio Station. That means there are possibily 3,000 autographs from that event hidden away that a majority of us as a community of collectors and authentication services have all unanimously decided they are just too different and atypical to deem worth the time of collecting. That is 3,000 individual moments of time that cannot be ignored.

You meant to reply to WFIL Man, right?

Yes, my apologies Steve.
