Thoughts on this poster signed at Premiere (private autograph session) ? COA + extensive correspondence from seller who answered every question I had over a week. Absolutely great customer service and 30 day return policy. Seems very legit to me. I've done extensive research and most of the autographs look legit. Definitely not auto pen.

PS - OP poster has most all sigs signed on the same slant. Observable red flag among others.

Others would be condition (should be well traveled), same hand, same pen.

Pretty unanimous. Thanks everyone. Why would a fraudulent company offer refunds and return? Wouldn't they just take the money and run?  That's strange to me.

Most do not pursue any authentication so it's a pretty good gamble.

And to create a false sense of security, which it does, for some.

Anyone heard of Official Authentics ? PXL_20231113_061621922.jpg

Finally it is your decision and your money. You don't have to hear on our good meant opinions.

I'm 100 percent listening to your opinion and am returning the item. I'm just interested that's all. Sorry if I annoyed you.

It is an obvious, silly and poorly forged poster. The reasons were detailed. If that certificate from whoever that is came with it, it is as worthless as the poster.

Very good decision!

Indeed!

Josh joined yesterday, Nov. 14. He's smart—he asked about it during the 30-day return privilege. We all know how many new collectors don't check. Now he'll know to check before he buys.

Josh, autographs certified by the leading comprehensive third-party authenticators (we call them TPAs) are generally the easiest to sell and worth the most: the leading ones are PSA/DNA, JSA, BAS, and a newer one, ACOA, which does not do sports like the others.

Then there are respected specialty authenticators who certify only one name, like The Beatles. or category like Music or Space, and their certifications can be worth even more.

There are TONS of TPAs in the business of certifying forgeries as genuine. Some say they use so-called "Court Approved" forensic examiners but an expert forensic evaluation generally costs thousands. They're generally only used for legal purposes and detective work. When you see an autograph offered with one, it's very rarely legit.

There are respected companies that hold private signings. Among them areFanatics and Tri-Star for sports, and Official Pix and SWAU (Star Wars Autograph Universe) that hold signings for Star Wars and sometimes other entertainment celebrities. They offer their own COAs. Like TPAs, not every one is legit.

That's where Autograph Live and other collector support come in, where collectors help each other keep from getting burned or selling a fake and burning someone else. So don't be afraid to ask, even the question you think is the dumbest. We understand. There is almost always consensus here on which authenticators are legit or not.

If you're new to autographs, ideally spend time learning before you buy. The learning curve for those who don't is usually VERY expensive.

We look forward to having here.
