Gene Hackman / Authentic Signings Inc

Two part question for the group:  1) opinions on this Gene Hackman and 2) what do you all think of "Authentic Signings" on ebay?  Many of their listings show a photo of the celebrity siging the item in question directly.  Legit, do you think?

They’ve been around for a while, and my understanding is that they’ve always been legit. They’ve had a number of private signings over the years, including some big names. That being said, I haven’t done tons of business with them or paid especially close attention to them recently, but I also haven’t gotten wind of any issues or controversy.

In my opinion the signature and company are legit. It's my understanding that Authentic Signings is the company that actually sets up some of the signings that other companies participate in, e.g., OfficialPix, etc.
