Montgomery Clift German signed postcard - Opinions Welcome

Does this look like the work of Filmstar-Sekretariat or another service rather than Clift himself?  Maybe even some weird kind of stamp?

I don't think it's him (although very close).  I also don't care for the way the first and last name are stacked on top of each other.

Is it s stamp? It looks like pooled ink on a very glossy surface?

These are all at Is It Real? site as products of that German or another:

I didn't know I still had this.  I just dug this up from own files and think this helps.  I actually almost pulled the trigger on this at one time when it was offered.  It seems rather telling now comparing it to the first one I posted above.

Indeed!

Markus Brandes once told me that the work of the Filmsekretariat in Berlin on Clift was near to perfect and that therefore it's hard to tell true from fake. He didn't tell me what hints there are to know for sure, so I am not certain enough to help you. But it seems as if you and Eric have found your way through.

Thanks, Kai.  It's certainly interesting.  The 2 that I found are what might be called "pre-accident" images when he was younger.   The 3 from the isitreal.com archives are "post-accident" images from later career.

Both sets are specifically stylized for each period but also could be very convincing as you say.  As I mentioned, I almost bought the green ink early one a few years back!

Maybe others can find more styles.  This has certainly been an education in studying these German postcards and I have you and a couple of other members to thank for getting me started awhile back!
