For that price, they should have at a minimum also signed the cd cardboard case and the "book".

+1. Even if they're only selling 20 (total?) copies, you would basically have to keep it sealed if you wanted to ensure the integrity of the signatures. No way is anyone going to pull all that stuff out without getting the box scuffed along the way.

As you said, they should have signed (and numbered) the book.
