It's from Autograph World. Which is generally a safe place for autos from my understanding. However this is not one of their BAS or JSA. It's looks ok. But then again Tim's auto is a pretty sad autograph.

"It's from Autograph World. Which is generally a safe place for autos from my understanding"

It is a mixed bag from what I have seen there, looking for others. It is not one of my sources.

Which is why I try to stick to their JSA and Beckett stuff. But the Tim looks alright to me but I want another opinion before dropping the cash on it. I've gotten a Paula Abdul from them. But it was JSA. I like autograph World. But these days I don't trust anyone. Which is why I try to stick to JSA, PSA and BAS if I can. There are so many Forgeries out there.

Was able to snag an index cheap with proof. One of his older style too. From an old event.

Great, much more of a signature,  but what proof?

Agree.

I don't see "proof" anywhere.

I only paid 20$ I compared it with multiple beckett and it looks about right for the age. I wanted an older auto anyway. The proof is the event clipping and the polaroid photo of Tim. The seller said it was from her father's autograph collection. Most of his autos I didn't want. He has a lot of older minor celebrities. Most of their autographs are on index cards. Has pictures of the person. For 20$ I'll risk it. But Tim's auto is pretty cheap anyway. From any of the big 3. The ebay seller had 100 percent feedback and over 7k items sold. Mix of all sorts of things.

I was just clarifying that the photo is not proof of anything.

This is true photo proof - you need to be able to see the item being signed in the photo is the same as the item you have. I sold this years ago but keep the image as it is handy when this topic comes up. It was great - even had the negatives.

Good to know. I had a good feeling with this one. Unlike the Sean Connery I posted the other day and had BAS look at it. I try to compare groups of different COAs from the big 3 and see if it looks similar. But I am still learning. Even after years of collecting.

"But I am still learning. Even after years of collecting."

We all are. When one stops, that is where trouble begins :-)

PS - BTW, perfect feedback means nothing.

I know. I've seen plenty of those crappy COAs with perfect feedback sellers.

Here is an in person signature from a few years ago...
