Hello

I picked this up from a local family.  There father was very politically active.  He met and communicated with several presidents in the 1970's and 80's.  This letter was a reply to him, from Jimmy carter discussing his support for Carter running in the 1976 presidential race.  Jimmy carter indicated that he would "try to define the issues, at the National Press club speech in Dec. 1974".  That is when Jimmy Carter announced he would run for president.  It is in a frame, and I have not tried to remove it.

Thank you for looking.

It's real, but damaged (faded) due to exposure to light.

I don't think it is fatal, and the images are dark. I think the content likely mitigates whatever fading has happened.

Thank you for the  help.
