What do you guys think of this Paul McCartney High in the Clouds signature currently on ebay?  Supposedly acquired from "Cure for Cancers"

I think it real but I would avoid it unless it was cheap and you don't mind some risk.

Thank you Steve, I appreciate your advice.

I am not a fan of this example

I definitely understand.

I wouldn't be surprised if I'm the only one who thinks it's likely real.

It reminds me of this oddity, which is claimed to have been signed the same day.

Ballroom, if there are two like that then I definitely don’t think it’s real.

I didn’t realize my phone was logged in to my test account!

They look unusual for sure. I have the bottom one as being from the Stephen Duncan website. The other one somehow ended up with a letter from “Cure For Cancers”.

If they’re from Stephen Duncan, that says it all. I would avoid anything from him like the plague.

Wow. I just found that the bottom one was subsequently sold through RR Auction.

I'm not surprised. Either one looks likely real to me on its own. What caught my eye once I saw them together are innate handwriting characteristics that are inconsistent between the 2:

  1. The top U is perpendicular to the baseline; the bottom one is slanted left.
  2. The final downstroke of M is concave left on the top one; the bottom one is concave right. And the overall shape of the Ms have no similar characteristics.
  3. The end of the second C is concave up on the top one; it's concave down on the bottom one.
  4. Other stuff too but those are the most obvious to me.
