I'm interested in gaining some impressions from members of how these Beatles index cards look.
I'm doing a bit of study into a large in-person collection that they originate from. The collection had all genres of entertainment represented from the 1940s to the early 2000s.
The Beatles are not my expertise, so I thought I would see what folks here think. I don't have better images, unfortunately.
I can't see a record of previous discussions of this set on AL but apologize if they have been discussed before. If they have, would appreciate seeing a link.

Looking at this and the 1955's etc. that I posted I wonder from these strokes (esp. in the 1951) if he was using either a form of brush pen or something made for an artist or illustrator? Such thick and thin strokes.
I think that could well be the case with the ones you posted.
I'm comparing the scans of those and the Kuster Liberace with a muted screen filter on. It's a different ink entirely, imo. The ones you posted are clearly vintage and come off as a kind of brown. The Kuster seems to have been created later and does appear to be a more modern black felt tip.
As far as I can tell, I'm in a minority (perhaps a minority of one) regarding my lack of confidence in elements of that collection. There's been a lot invested in it in the market.
This is rather odd - "Due to the overwhelming quantity, some secretarial and/or printed signatures may be included in the lot. Interested parties are encouraged to view the collection in person at our offices or call us with specific inquiries, as this collection is sold as is and no returns will be accepted."
Interesting disclaimer....
Maybe I'm not the only one out there who wasn't totally sold on material in that archive. Even the auctioneers may have been onto it at the time with no guarantees given.
We're seeing tons of individual items from this archive being sold off on eBay and elsewhere through various sellers. I can only comment on the vintage film names I'm familiar with. I think it's going to help infect the hobby for awhile.
Again, this is solely my opinion.
These Liberace's look interesting to compare but I don't have time to look at them now.
they look good to me also
Thanks!
really nice genuine examples
