I received a response from support and they will be refunding my money. It appears US customers will get refunds, as evidenced by the restock. . Bummer.

Already received my refund. I guess I need to make friends with somebody in the UK so they can purchase it and then ship it to me. Totally bummed.

You can on eBay, plenty of UK sellers just watch out for the dispatch time I see so many people not giving genuine delivery dates which happens to often with anything people don't have yet.
