I have a Morrison autograph. Bought it 10 years ago. Anybody have any opinions about the authenticity of it?
I have compared it to known signatures on Doors stationary, checks, and Christies auctioned signatures and it matches up all the way down to the age of paper and ink. The paper looks 40 years old. Ball point pen. Would love to have someone authenticate it or give me a value of it. Thanks.

True. The uncropped photo was used quite a bit at the time for concert promotion.
I see the "I" and the "S" are joined looking at other examples this is very very rarely done.
I have only seen him do this twice before but have a few exemplars where you can see the pen trailer doing the same movement. No history it just walked into my friends store in LA and he contacted me. It is without question authentic.
it's just an odd size promo photo, it even has borders on it.
The autograph discussed at the beginning of this thread is now up on eBay...

Here is a very rare hand signed autograph page from JIM MORRISON OF THE DOORS. This piece came from a very large autograph collection from a man that quit collecting. The signature is very clear and very nice, the page that it is on is roughly 4x4 inches. This is a great piece and Jim's signature doesn't turn up very often. More pictures available if needed. Please ask any questions before bidding.
It sold for $800.
Good work Where did the real one it was copied from come from?
It was signed at the 1969 Toronto Roll and Roll Revival, and sold by Jeff Gold/Recordmecca...

Thanks. The owners of Coach's Corner should be in prison.
Agreed. I can't believe that it has gone on this long.
