You shouldn´t only focus on the FM signature which is the easiest of the four signatures to forge anyway.

Look at and compare the three other signatures as well...they are way off and terrible forgeries.

Did you contact Martin from queenconcerts.com?

So, after checking my last post,  you are now starting to see that I might have a point in my claim that I consider the signatures to be genuine, (even though you are  trying to save face by stating  that FM's signature being the easiest to forge). If Freddie Mercury's signature is genuine, then there is a good chance that they are all genuine, becaause if you recall how the signatures were obtained, they were all from the same source, and at the same time, unless of course, Freddie forged the others after signing himself.

I have replied to you earlier about the Queenconcert site, if Martin wants to comment, invite him over to join in the discussion.

No, you have no point and the Mercury is a fake !!

Boy, this is getting lame

Everyone here tells you they are fake.

And you not trying to contact Martin speeks for itself...

I have no reason to contact anyone, or jump through any other hoops you hold out,. I know the true facts about how the signatures were obtained, and as far as I am aware, they are genuine. Do you honestly think I would let a friend offer a fake item for sale on a website hosted by myself, and  where my identity is clear for anyone to see, if I thought it was not genuine. Take off the blinkers, shave 70% off your ego, and accept that even you could be wrong

Since you refuse to contact Martin...I have...and here is his answer, which he allowed me to publish:

"Sorry, I’m not joining any discussions, I have enough of my own problems :) People are blind and want to believe they have genuine stuff. This guy’s autographs are of course fakes, terrible fakes but he will be fighting for them until the very end. Because Jacky must be right – according to his opinion.

I already gave up. I tried to help people who wanted to listen but if some people just refuse to accept what’s OBVIOUS (and I mean VERY OBVIOUS, I’m not talking about dubious stuff – there’s tons of stuff on ebay I simply can’t recognize - but the fan club fakes were “luckily” soooooo poor...

Let him enjoy his fake crap. We can’t fight wind mills :-)
 Cheers
Martin"
Gavin, no I havn´t made this up. So let´s see... we have about 6-7 people on this site telling you that you have fake signatures for sale...and you still believe what you want, which is fine, because you are entitled to think whatever you want.
The signatures have been on your website for 3 years? Why if they are genuine? I see (genuine) signed Queen LPs go for $2000 and more in a second in any reputable auction...and even on ebay. Why are you not auctioning off your album and make +$2000 within a couple of weeks? Answer: Because no reputable auction house will accept this piece of junk.
Face the truth...even if it hurts.
But this leads nowhere...you won´t accept anyones opinion in this world...I really think this thread can be closed.

Just let me ask you, and anyone else who agrees with you,  one question. If you were shown for the first time the two signatures from Freddie Mercury that are on this link http://queenautographs.net/freddiemercuryautograph.htm and you were told that the first one was genuine, but someone was selling the second on eBay, would you honestly buy it from eBay, considering the differences?  I know I wouldn't, but they are both classed as genuine, so how can someone who is not an expert  say with 100% certainty that a signature like the one on my site, and containing the same characteristics, is a fake?

Regarding why the signature has not sold, (or indeed had any offers until a couple of weeks ago), is my fault. When I made up the image for the email address, I got the lettering wrong, so nobody could contact me, and I only found out a couple of weeks ago when checking the links on my sites, which is also when I stumbled upon this discussion. I am not selling the LP, my friend is, (I have stated this numerousl times already), but she is not desparate to sell it, and she had not even enquired if I have had any response.

At  least, thanks for the advice about genine ones fetching $2,000 at auction, I will be advising my friend to approach a reputable auction company with it, hopefully one that doesn't rely on information provided by a Google search of a pseudo expert in a forum, to decide its authenticity.

Can I ask what people think of these signatures please? I also bought this from a reputable company and now I have very serious doubts. Reading all these comments make it as a clear as mud, so I'd be grateful for your opinions. Thanks in advance,

I´m afraid these are very bad fakes.

Sorry, mate

I thought as much. Thank you for getting back to me.

Thankfully, the auction company have agreed to give me a full refund.

I'm still gutted though!!

This is a classic Autographcentral.net forged Queen cover.

They're very easy to spot, Freddie's signature is an immediate dead giveaway.

Gavin's ANATO, instead, is a classic Fan club fake. Indeed no wonder it comes with their worthless COA. I hope that in the meantime he has put his mind at ease...

I do not want to revive closed topics but here I have to make an exception. I would like to answer few "questions" which were there written.

1.) why Jacky is releasing COA for fake autographs - its very simple. Some fakes were made in official Queen fanclub - this is exactly that case. Its well known thing among Queen hardcore fans, that people in fanclub began to fake signatures in 2nd half of 70s - due to increasing amount of requests - band was unable to sign all they got into their office due to recording or tour or whatever reason. Frankly speaking - Im almost sure that the 1st idea was probably good - they wanted to make fans happy in the situation when it became clear that its impossible to get original signs from band members! There was no ebay, no internet, at that time it was almost "impossible" to realize that these signs are not genuine. Today - its important to keep fans satisfied, thats the reason why FC will NEVER admit this - can you imagine the situation that fanclub would dissapoint thousands and thousands fans (who really lives in the imagination that the signatures are original - I think that this is exactly the case!) by public admittance "yes, sorry, we had to do this"? Never. So Im sure that the person who wants to sell it do not know that these are fakes, but sadly they are, and the COA from fanclub is absolutely useless, because these fakes are coming from fanclub itself... Closed circle.... No evil intention, but this is the result.... Sad, but truth.

2.) There is one and only way how to get to the confirmation - ALL signs have to look perfect. Its just oposite as Gavin tried to tell us - when there is doubt about ONE of the signs, you can tell with pretty big assurance that all are faked - why? Its almost impossible to get right all 4 handwrittings... I think that its pretty easy to get FM´s handwritting, but I think that its almost impossible to get good fake of Freddie´s handwritting and for example Roger´s and Brian´s handwritting as there are so many differencies. That´s the reason why its pretty easy to discover fakes of "fully" signed recordings and very difficult to get mastered fakes of one band member. This is how I see it. :)

Totally agree.

I must point out that sometime this fan club scam -because it definitely is a scam, despite their eventually good intentions- reached very sad peaks.

Look for example at the attached pictures: taking advantage of a car crash victim is so pathetic in my point of view.

And, looking at Jacky's handwriting on the COA, I made my personal idea about the phisycal hand behind all of these faked Queen autographs...
