anyone ever go to these? travel etc?

just wondering your experiences at this event. my wife used to have a good time paying to get people that i used to get for free. but she was happy.

but there's a guy there that all us in person collectors/dealers have to deal with. and this is how he peddles his wares. his name is Mike Medlin. and i have a huge problem with him.

a lot of celebs have bodyguards or there are people at events that let celebs sign and are real sticklers to the one per person rule. sometimes, you can sneak a few extras in here or there. but this guy purposely butts heads with those people who are basically there to protect the celebs and keep them from being a part of the ruckus that can go on between fans and collectors who are pushing and shoving just to get one.

AND THIS GUY FIGHTS WITH EVERYONE. a few years ago, when i was in hollywood, he got rocked by kid rock and his entourage to where they busted his knee that put him in a sling for a while. which he used to his advantage when coming back out and playing the sympathy card to get regular non signers like bill murray. but he got rocked because he decided to talk trash to kid rock and his people for quite some time until someone got fed up and blasted him in the face about it. and the two paparazzi got beaten and their cameras taken by kid's entourage.

well, he's at it again. still wearing the knee brace for the sympathy (man, that's some long 3-4 recorvery. he should get a second opinion).. this time, he's talking trash to Priscilla Presley's bodyguard AFTER she already signed for him and they are pushing his stuff out of the way to stop him from getting more. but he follows up with a threat where he basically says," if you damage my stuff, i'm going to damage something of yours." and then, after some more words, they didn't just damage his stuff..

so now, here's what i am asking.

DON'T BUY FROM THIS GUY!!! seriously. he does this all the time. he threatens everyone. little kids, their moms and the other autograph people. if anyone gets in his way, they are ripe to get punched. he has been known to sucker punch unsuspecting people at events just because they stood up for themselves... he walks away and comes back when you are least expecting it and POW!

and when he can't hack it... he does this.. runs away, yells "i am injured." etc. and the only way to really get rid of him is to run him out of business. so i am asking. you can't miss him at the hollywood shows. he's fat, he's got red hair and for the most part, he's the only one at the shows selling current hollywood. we call him red bull or barefoot the second (yeah, i know i'm barefoot- people said i had a hot temper with people at times too. but if you ask around, it was NOTHING like this.)

have fun at the shows. my buddy david runs those things and he keeps trying to line up great guests... i wish lee majors would quit giving him the run around.
