What about this 8X10 glossy photo  signed by John Lennon, Paul McCartney and Ringo Star in early 1964?... The auction is finished on Ebay and the bids have not gone beyond 1.000 USD...

Photograph come with a letter of authenticity from Perry Cox, (author and co-author of eight editions of the official Beatles records and memorabilia reference/price guides since 1983, his published works on the subject of Beatles collecting have become the standard reference throughout the world).

Don't you think it was worth it? ... What value do you consider fair, or you think that it was not authentic? ...

Hi Macshade,

I would suggest you read "Ten Warning Signs a Dealer May Be Selling Autograph Forgeries' posted by Kevin Conway.

http://live.autographmagazine.com/forum/topics/ten-warning-signs-a-...

Note No. 6 Warning!! Beatles signed photo for less than $1000.00?? I do not think it is real. Does anyone know who Perry Cox (author and co-author of eight editions of the official Beatles records and memorabilia reference/price guides since 1983, his published works on the subject of Beatles collecting have become the standard reference throughout the world) is?? I have seen him on the bay but I am not comfortable with his items for sale.

Bids on ebay don't accurately reflect that point. If that were a buy it now price or it were on a website for that price it would be a different story. I've seen good autographs go way below value on ebay all the time. There could be a  variety of reasons why something does not get more bids, including the time of day and buyer awareness of an auction.

With that said, I know nothing about Beatles autographs so I can't contribute anything to authenticating this one.

I think its real, Perry Cox is legit, and I would value it well beyond the price listed above.

Thanks. How much?... Do have an idea?...

I'm ready to get another opinion...

What you think about this service "BEATLES Autograph Authentication On-Line Examination by P.A.A.S.":

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/330754154938?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&...

Does it works?... Woud it help?...

dont waste your money, the opinions here will be more reliable.

I think the only reason for the low ending price is the damage to John's and Paul's autographs. If not for that, I'm sure it would have gone much higher.

If it's Perry Cox, it's legit, period.  He and Frank Caiazzo are the only people I would trust to buy Beatles signatures from.  Perry is the world's finest Beatles seller.  Also a fantastic guy.  His reputation is too strong to bet on a shaky signature, and if he backs it I'd say it's real.

We in England, U.K have a good Beatles Authenticater as well, by the name of "Tracks" l have never heard a bad word said about them, Paul Wane knows his stuff.

Tracks is also top-notch

What about this one http://www.wall-of-fame.de/?...

these are good. sometimes people on ebay selling beatles autos are uninformed of there value. i don't let what a person on ebay is selling them for influence me on whether a beatles autograph is real or not. i see real beatles autographs try to be sold for,, way more than they are worth, mainly solo graphs.
