What Autographs Have You Given Away...?

...and do you regret it?  I gave an in-person Tom Seaver signed baseball and a Steiner Phil Rizzuto baseball to my son and in-person Placido Domingo and Luciano Pavarotti autographs to my daughter.  Neither of them had even graduated high school at the time and I don’t regret it for a second.  I hope that they add to the pieces over the course of their lifetimes.

I've given away a few Kurt Warner, Larry Fitzgerald and Pat Tillman signatures to friends. As well as some lesser Cardinals and D Back signatures.

I still have more than  a few of each. I dont regret it.

I gave away a signed 8x10 Tupac Shakur back in 1998 , (Tupac was killed in 1996 ) to my neighbor he was in the national guard and had watched my house on occasion when we went on vacation and though I wish I still had it , I don't regret giving it to him he was grateful for it and I was happy to give it to him.

I gave my nephew a Anthony Daniels autographed card.  Not sure if authenic as got TTM.  He was happy and it made me feel good as well.

Anthony Daniels is usually pretty good about TTMs so it probably is authentic.  I once wrote to Ralph McQuarrie and received a handwritten response on Star Wars letterhead.  May the Force be with you.

I've given away too many to name. Mostly minor stars of sports teams that someone really liked, but a big name that I gave away this past Christmas was Herschel Walker. One of my co-workers has a son that is a die-hard UGA fan and wanted an autographed Herschel jersey for Christmas. I told her how much that would run, and she was disappointed to discover it was a good bit out of her price range. So I told her that she could have one of my extra Herschel cards so that at least she could have something to give to her son for Christmas. I encased it for her and everything, and that boy was so proud of his Herschel autograph.
