I see many of these on ebay asking price 300 dollars to 1400 dollars. Is there a chance they can be fake too?

This watches were sold in limted edition when it was released in the 90's. They are authentic. There should be a Fossil certificate that comes with the watch in a wooden presentation box with a signed Ali black and white photo,. Retailed for $250.00.

Just make sure the Fossil certificate is included. Also make sure that the watch is running. A lot of these watches are not working because they tend to forget to take the battery out from the watch and they leaks after years in the watch since they are bought for collection and they were mostly not worn by the buyer before.
