Authenticity is Everything
Batman cast photo
Hi everyone,
I really appreciate all the help I have received in previous posts. I have an opportunity to purchase an autographed photo with Michael Keaton, Danny Devito & Michelle Pfeiffer, but it isn't authenticated. Do these signatures look legit?

I have noticed that if I take a photograph of an item and post it as an image it can be clicked on to enlarge but if I copy a photograph of an item it cannot be clicked on to enlarge. I understand that you are probably copying this item. I just wanted to get a closer look at the signature to see if it appears to have any stops or shakes in it. I am particularly interested in getting a closer look at the "D" in Danny.
In short I am concened about the same marker being used as well as the slant and form of the signatures. They may have been signed by the same hand. Let's wait to hear from others.

All signed one right below each other with the same upward slope? That's also a good sign this is no good.

From all the reading I've done on cast photos, and seen of people discussing various ones people are looking at on this site, the vast majority are forgeries, with many being poor forgeries. The primary tip I've read is to try and find a way either through sponsored signings (public or private) or join the throbs that mob the celebrities every where they go. Or get individual sigs and create your own display, i.e. a 3 picture frame, such as for an item like this, a larger signed pic of keaton, with smaller ones from devito and pfeiffer. And obviously stick to in their respective Batman roles.

i recently got an authentic danny devito via venue when he was doing theatre in london, england and it is nothing like the one there.
i also agree with the signatures being too uniform, same pen etc. it just wouldnt happen.
its too good to be true.
