I am not very keen on MJ but have seen many good and bad pieces...I think this one may go either way...but there seems to be some typical qualities to it...

I've occasionally seen this style authenticated by legit TPAs, but I don't think they're real. BTW, notice the photo quality. It looks lower resolution, like it was a photo found online. I tend to avoid those photos period, because they're likely to be less and less desirable in the future.

Was this posted on his site? I saw about 40 MJs and nothing set off an alarm. I would get Roger Epperson's opinion on it. A quick opinion will cost $15 and it's worth it. If he says, yes, I'm still concerned about photo quality. It looks so grainy. How much is it?

That piece you posted at $2,000 was expensive, but wow'd me.

How big is it? If the photo is as grainy as it looks, I'd avoid it. If the graininess is in the scan you posted and the autograph checks out, I'd avoid it as an 8x10 but consider it as an 11x14.

The autograph could be absolutely fine, but I'm not convinced. Find out before you buy, not after.

Thx Steve , your help has helped endlessly :)

John,

Get a high resolution scan of this piece before you buy. I think it's likely Roger will think it's genuine, but when I looked at it again, I noticed a major ink skip going into the N. It could be ink that flaked or wiped off...hard to tell.

Get input from others before you buy this. For a grand I think it should be problem free.
John,
I just messaged you. Can y ou check it and respond? Thanks!
