Van Halen Opinions Please

A fellow member has asked for opinions about this signed 1984 Van Halen album in another thread. There are things that I like and things that concern me about it so I wanted to post it as a new discussion with the hope that we can get more members to comment on it. Thanks in advance.

We have proof with user id's and paypal records that Steve Grad, Roger Epperson and Michael Hoppe all bought from my source. They loved his stuff for it is a 25 year conglameration of the finest music memorabilia in the world. They couldnt wait to get their hads on it, slap their stickers on the items and sell them. In fact I have purchased items from Hoppe that originally came from my source before I knew much about the market and that I was paying way over market value for his stuff. The problem all started with the Metallica Promo Photo signed by all 4. Steve Grad wanted it but didnt have the money on hand. My source needed money for this is currently his livelyhood (not for long). My source told Steve he was going to list on ebay. Steve said "are you sure you want to do that?". My source was new to ebay and didnt undertand where Steve was going with that comment. My source who has a NY/NJ mentallity doesnt take well to people telling him what to do. He said whatever and listed the item anyway. Next thing he know item was removed from ebay. He contacted ebay to find out what happend. Ebay said they received a complaint that the item was fake and removed it. They also said if you get it authenticated you can relist it. My source contacted Roger Epperson (for they were friends at the time) and Roger authenticated it for him. That was the first time the "abuse of power" reared its ugly head. Things just got worse over time. My source would sell to these 3 persons frequently but they were asking such high prices not much was selling. Since the 3 persons were cash limited and couldnt sell fast enough my source started selling to other persons. Well guess where the items ended up? On ebay. Cant have that, they are the same items at 1/10 to 1/5 the cost the big 3 were asking either on the website or their ebay accounts. So, they started having his items removed from ebay so my sources other buyers couldnt flip the items. That is how it all began. My source is not wealthy and lives off his collection. He has to flip what he has to pay the bills for right now. We have a plan for him to get out of this situation for it is a life of hell. Especially when you have been black listed by the big 3 and have influence with the #1 outlet in America, ebay. My source found out the hard way. Sometimes you have to be careful who you choose to battle with. He had no idea there was this type of corruption in the ebay fair and ethical market place.

Mike P are you a retard or what? Sure seems like it. Sorry to say for I feel for those of you who need special attention (I have a soft heart). If you are a retard, which it seems like you are, I will be happy to help. Kinda seems like you need special attention.

I want to start off by thinking you for asking some intelligent questions!

#1) My source is actually a very kind hearted person that has gone through hell trying to survive in the ebay market. He has a tough outer skin for he is street smart but not formally educated. He cant affor attornies to defend his collection against the crooks. Me and some other key individauls have taken him under our wing to help guide him out of this situation. His collection is starting to run out even though he has many connection in the music industry and can continue to get items from record companies, roadies, truck drivers, BAND PHOTOGRAPHERS (at one time), etc. The life he depends on since his only family member died a decade ago is a living hell. I am a passionate guy with a big heart. He has been abused long enough. Time to call out the ones who are responsible. Keep in mind, I didnt join this forum to do this for we are seeking legal actions in the background. I was brutally attacked and pushed into a corner. I know exactly how hurtful it is to be in my sources shoes.

#2) Yes it is the same Michael Hoppe. He owns World of Autographs. And yes, he does have fake stuff on his website with GAI stickers. Not all fake, but some. Michael Hoppe used to by from my source. He loved his stuff but was cash limited and didnt flip it quickly because he would ask $500 for a KISS outake photo which you can find on ebay for $100 or ask $1000 for a KISS autographed album that you can get on ebay for $100 if you wait long enough. There is enough good KISS stuf out there if you know what you are looking for you will eventually find it. Anyway, Michael, Steve and Roger got frustrated with my source because he started selling to other people that listed on ebay. They couldnt have competition because they would never get the high prices thay were asking. Unfortunatly the head of safety and trust department with ebay relied on these 3 to police his music memorablia sites to rid them of forgeries. The big 3 (inclding Michael Hoppe, started telling Jonathan Gonzales (head of Safety and Trust) that all items that were on ebay from my source collection were bad and Jonathan would have the items removed. Just like the clan of Epperson watch dogs just did to me. Sometime ebay would go as far as kicking the seller off ebay and shutting down their paypal accounts indefinitely (which has also happened to me and several of my good friends). And in extreme cases, ebay would go as far as to send emails to all your past customers that your stuff is fake (even though I had 100% user feedback) and recommend opening disputes against the seller (which has also happened to me). Look, I am a KISS expert regardless of what these guys post. My items I took to Gene Simmons were authenticated by him personally. I didnt take them because I had any doubts, I know all my KISS stuff is 100%. I took them to get video of Gene saying they are good. Because people dont believe it unless they see it. Now I understand members are saying I do such great art work that I fooled Gene Simmons. That is just complete ignorance. Gene Simmons is as smart as they come. He made the video for me because he knows the industry is bad and wanted to help clean it up. I guarentee it. He would never authenticate items for me if he thought I was going to turn around and sell for 1K because I got his endorcement. I think he knew exactly what I was going to do with the video. He offered to make the darn thing! We have other artists in our sites to gain more evidence other than JUST AN OPINION.

#3) Take a look. Video A is 24 minutes. If you watch this one you dont need the other 2 (B and C). If you chose not to watch this one watch the other 2 (B and C). B and C are much shorter.
