Ok, so I have the opportunity to purchase this baseball that's signed by the '64 Yankees team. According to PSA/DNA, the Mantle, Berra, and Ford are clubhouse, and the rest (including Maris and Ellie Howard) are authentic. The guy wants $500 for it. I know the Maris and Ellie Howard would be worth the price, but how does the fact that there are 3 clubhouse signatures on the ball affect the value? Also, what do you thin of the signatures in general? I'm guessing PSA can be wrong from time to time. Thanks guys!

Yogi and mantle are definitely clubhouse, Maris looks good but a little on the light side. It depends on if you are buying for yourself or for resale. I have typically been disappointed with the selling price on the 1950s and 1960 s Yankees balls when there are clubhouse sigs present, especially on the mantle.

I would think two clubhouse sigs of two of the biggest stars on the sweet spot would really kill desirability. I don't think $500 would be grossly overpaying if YOU enjoy it, but you may have trouble moving it when the day comes.
