Yep -that`s why i have linked the youtube clip to show how sloppy these LIPA things look like - contrairy to what is offered....

This how those LIPA signs look like...

is it lipa or st georges hall ?

thanks, i have sloppy examples too, he signs like this in a crowd

not very nice

Look at the angle of the signature on the RS lp !

This is another one from the same person who is constantly making these appear !

Very sad  and people need to be educated

Well, I hate to break it do ya Thorsten and Gary, but you have just been tested!  I had placed that up there to see if I could get a barometer as to the accuracy of feedback on this site. I worked at Capitol Records as one of the heads of promotion for three years and I watched Paul personally sign that, while we were at KIIS FM here in Los Angeles.

I don't mean to come off disrespectful, but this is testament that even when some of you (us) may think you know, you may be indeed be wrong. Sorry to burst your bubbles, but just a caveat to others looking for authentication on this site.

How mature Michael !

I dont like the angle of the signature, there have been a lot of Macca signatures shown on here at that angle that are #NOT authentic.

Im no expert in Authentification, I did not express that in one way that I was

I have not boasted anything !

Please get your facts right

I offered an opinion on the angle of the signature

Speaking of In Person McCartneys, do you want to see some of my collection of signatures from the fella ?

They do not all look like your example and they definately are NOT at that angle

So please do not express that MCCartney signs all his items like your example

cheers

Gary- I never said anything about him signing all of his items alike. That he may not was EXACTLY my point and thank you for proving that. All I said was that we can never truly always be sure.

You also said, "people need to be educated"- that is exactly what I was doing; so don't shoot the messenger!

Most definately Mike

Nothing can be guaranteed, thats why I collect in person. I know my items are 100~% real

Roger Epperson has bought from me, a lot of other people have too.

There is a lot of mistrust about regarding McCartney and Jackson, you say you saw it signed then thats your statement

I  m scepticle regarding this angle of McCartney, hope you understand

Thanks Gary. I saw him sign many things that day, and the funny thing is that the management at the radio station was either told (been so long I can't exactly recall) that he wouldn't be signing anything or that he'd only sign one thing. Despite that, one of the station heads brought in an enormous stack of things for him to sign (which Paul gracefully did).  The kicker was when on top of that, the guy then tried to fool Paul into recording a personal answering machine message- that set Paul off and he (understandably) left pretty abruptly after that!

yeah , we all have stories like that, allways someone goes too far and wants more ! lol

Im not sure what that proves, and Im not even sure which items you posted that you are referring to.  I could search for and probably find examples of virtually anyones signature (including mine) that was an isolated case and looked nothing like a typical example.

Anyone that does not obtain an autograph in person relies on opinions.  if a signature is put up here, even if it is received in person (but not stated that way), if it is very non-typical, it will be deemed either not able to be authenticated, or even fake.

would you rather have an opinion of authentic on something that is not?  there are plenty of paid authenticators out there that will do that for a fee.  Sorry Michael, you have proven nothing.
