Very cool - great to see he doesn't just give a half-hearted/rushed scribble that many celebrities do these days.

He is a very tough signer. He must have noticed you're a fan. I'd love to hear more about the encounter. I'm really dying to add his signature to my collection!

I was at my neigborhood sushi restaurant in North Hollywood a few days after Christmas for dinner. JGL was with a group of friends sitting in a corner of the restaurant. One of the waitress inform me of JGL. I asked the restaurant owner who is friend of mine whether I can go up to JGL to ask for an autograph. I didn't just want to walk up to him and interrupt his dinner. The owner gave me the thumbs up and I approached JGL for an autograph. He was very friendly and nice. He asked me who to sign the autograph to. I got 2 autographs from him. One for the sushi restaurant owner!!

There are quite a few celebrities that frequent this place. This is the first autograph that I ever got there. :D

I'm actually quite happy to see a joseph Gordon-Levitt autograph like this as I have only seen him initial them as JGL. I purchased an item back in 2011 and having seen his JGL initials, I automatically thought the worst of my autograph. Having said that and seen this one, I believe there may be some light at the end of the tunnel for me :) Mine seems to have similar characteristics of how your levitt part is signed. Would welcome any opinions regarding my autograph! :)

Thanks!

IMO, that one does not look characteristic of his signature. Usually he does initials in public signings, and even those are rare. I would keep an eye out right now if you're looking to buy because he signed at Sundance this year. They won't be cheap, though.

Thanks JXE,

So it's safe to assume that this is not characteristic of Levitt to sign his surname alone? Hopefully a legit version will crop up on Golden State soon enough :)

All I know is he hardly ever signs. EVER! He clearly knew JSeah was a fan and not a dealer and that's why he signed. I'm SHOCKED he signed at Sundance this year.

But all I can say is the majority of the signatures I've seen of his have been "JGL". All 3 of those initials matched what JSeah has in the full signature, although sometimes his rushed signatures have the G overlap the J, and the L is sloppy or nonexistant.

JSeah, if you ever want to sell that full signature, I am VERY interested!

The one that JSeah managed to obtained is very uniqe and as JXE has already stated, he is notoriously tough to obtain in general. So a full name autograph like that is quite simply superb to see! Would love to own one like this version one day!

Here is the other JGL autograph signed for my friend who is the owner of the sushi restaurant.

Oh wow. Jeremiah, these are absolutely awesome.

$100 is what I would offer for either one! :)

NFS :)
