Yeah, the fact that Watts signed twice unnecessarily, and on an item sent through the mail after he'd already supposedly signed in person. . .

This is just such a weird item.

The signed guitar sold for $2,566.00.

Also look at the stripe along the edge of the bridge and pickup. In the one set of photos they are touching the red stripe and the other photos they are touching the white stripe.

You're right about that - clear as day, and Carl is right that the stars don't match up.

In the auction photo there are 2 full and 1 partial rows of stars within the width of the bridge. In the "proof" photo there is 1 row and 1 partial. You can also clearly see the bottom edge of the pickup is in a white stripe with room to spare in the top pic, and is either flush with or just overlapping into the red stripe in the bottom pic.

Once it's clear that there's deception involved, I wouldn't even waste my time looking at the signatures, or any of this seller's other auctions for that matter.

More nonsense from the seller's completed listings-

These are not the same guitars, in my opinion. Look at the photo with the Band member in the red shirt signing. Look at the fret furthest from the neck. Count two stars up from the red/white striped portion. On one guitar the stars running away from the neck in that row are full all the way to the bottom of the guitar. On the one offered for sale, the stars are under the pick up and obscured. I count five stars on the one being signed in that row and the one he is selling would be impossible to have it because the star would be under the hardware on the guitar.
