Want to see how you ruin a beautiful Mantle autographed photo with Joe D? Unreal.

Damn shame.

It's almost inconceivable that stuff like this happens, but it does.

I recently reviewed an Apollo 11 crew photo that had a real Neil Armstrong and Mike Collins and a 100% fake Aldrin. Slowly drawn and shaky. Perhaps the fake Aldrin was added years ago, long before Armstrong was the valuable autograph he is today.

The key takeaway is, just because a valuable autograph on a multi-signed is good, it doesn't mean they are all good.

true story zipp

I'd buy it, take a dry erase marker and remove that crap Dimaggio...if it was the right price...But it is truly terrible people are willing to ruin authentic pieces to get more $

mike did you end up trying that on those other piece

Im waiting for the piece to come thru the mail but I tested it and it worked.  Doesnt work on computer photo paper though so got to make sure no photo paper is used.

You probably can wash the DiMaggio off, but I would not want an image with more than one person in it that is only signed by one. Looks like it is missing something.

Unless it was dirt cheap... like $75 or less, I'd rather spend the cash on a Mantle single pose.

That's true.  But for dirt cheap I wouldnt complain haha

I saw this one days ago and reported it...I was like WTF

looks like this auction got pulled.

At this point this Mantle is only good for a cut at this stage...I feel the same way as Zipper when having multiple players on an image should have all the players autos on it...cleaning this would like terrible at this point...this does happen...it does suck but it happens...
