I'm interested in this NMTB autographed album item 321139581146. The provenance to it being from the Ray Stewart collection seems correct as he was a Radio Hallam DJ and the Sex Pistols did visit the station on 17th November 77 and I seen two other signed Pistols records from his collection, a GSTQ signed at that visit and a Holidays signed by Sid at the Ivan Hoes gig. Trouble is the autographs don't seem to match the time period when they were signed. Can anyone help me on this.

I  met Steve Jones on a location shoot 2 years ago. Now granted,  I'm sure his memory could be blurrry, but he told me they barely signed anything while touring. They didn't really get it, they were generally very rude and every show basically was complete chaos. They were usually literally ran out of clubs and sometimes even cities that took a chance on them.

Add to that, Sid played less than 20 shows in the states

John almost exclusively signed "John Lydon "

Even in the modern era, the punk culture was/is never really an autograph culture

A Sex Pistols authentic signed album seems pretty unlikely. this band was a mess and their

shelf life was very short. If you ever come accross even reasonably authentic Pistols sigs,

Please post them, I would love to see them.

I've searched for a Sid for years, but I don't think I would buy this.

Humble Opinion

Thanks, I have seen some signed John Lyndon and Stephen Jones, so would these be more likely to be genuine.

Here is my Sex Pistols signed skateboard from their 30 years Reunion for NMTB album at The Roxy in 2007. Steve Jones written set list is also on the skateboard.

Nice.

WOW

Here is an in person signed Sex Pistols NMTB from the collection of Bjarne Soderholm.

Sex Pistols, Never Mind the Bollocks, Signed in Stockholm, Sweden, 1996. This record is signed by Johnny Rotten, Paul Cook, Steve Jones, Glen Matlock and Johnny Rambo (Johnny Rottens bodyguard.)

The signatures differ so much from early ones in their career, every time I see their autographs they are all different.
