Every time I think I've seen the ugliest forgery (or forgeries) on Ebay, I discover another one.

Check out these Mickey Mantle and Ted Williams forgeries on a card listed by Ebay seller AbandonedTreasure2011.

Check out the Ted Williams forgery.  It's spelled "Led" Williams.

And look at the putrid Mickey Mantle forgery listed by Ebay seller AbandonedTreasure2011.

Only $1,000 or Best Offer for this putrid crap!!!!

Of all the putrid forgeries we have exposed here, this set makes the top 5 list.

Seller wants a $1,000.00 for that garbage.

If this auction started at .99 cents, there would be moron bidders placing bids on this crap.

I'm wondering how the Ebay seller (AbandonedTreasure2011) arrived at the $1,000.00 price tag for this crap!!!

yea, I never seen a Mickey Manlte one before. That is why the seller is asking for the $1000 price tag!

I went back to the listing and the seller added the following:

This card is being sent out to JSA Authentication services for an authentication on 7/8/2013.  I am leaving the listing active at this time but the card will not be available until Authentication is confirmed. 
 
The signatures on this card (which is from 1994) would have been signed by an elderly Ted Williams and an elderly Mickey Mantle.  Penmanship never stays quite as neat as we age.....that is the reason that I believe this card is real even though the signatures are not the neatest one sees from the peek period during their careers.
 
It could very well be that JSA will be unable to authenticate this card for me, in which case the listing will be removed as I would NOT sell a fake to anyone.  I value my reputation and would loose my buyers trust which is unacceptable to me!!!
 
If this card is a fake, then all those bloggers shooting barbs can use it as an example of what not to buy.  BUT....if this card is authenticated....then I hope they repost with apologies!! :)

JSA will laugh at how stupid somebody was to pay them just to say "he'll no".

Being the benefit of the doubt guy I am I would think Burczyck(if he even exists) would decline that turd.
