Hello everybody!!

I absolutly love when members here at AML post examples of beautiful autographs that they have in their collection. So I thought I should start a thread where everyone who wants, can post a photo of their favorite autograph and maybe write some info about why you especially like this one!

Hopefully some members will chip in!! :-)

Ok, I´ll start:

My favorite autograph is a 10x8 photo signed by Bruce Springsteen and Little Steven, Max Weinberg, Roy Bittan, Clarence Clemons & Gary Tallent from The E Street Band:

I wanted this so bad when I first saw it, because I´m a huge fan of Springsteen. But unfortunally me economy usually sucks, so it took me a long time to save up enough money to buy it. And every day that went by, I were worried that someone else would buy it before me. So when I finally bought it, I were extremely happy!!! :-)

Someone else??

PS. Sorry if this has been done recently, but I can´t remember seeing a simular thread. I know that there is a thread about the rarest autograph, but that´s not the same thing... :-)

Very hard to find and exact favorite.  Too much fun.  Anne Francis and Leslie Nielsen from the movie Forbidden Planet.  Signed in 1994 at a convention in NY City.

Thanks William!  I used to correspond with Anne Francis for a number of years.  A Wonderful person!  Only met Leslie Nielsen once.  Sorry to say Walter Pigeon past away a number of years before I started collecting.

Totally agree!  Of all the sci fi, they could really do a Forbidden Planet remake. Imagine the ID monster with todays effects.

if the doors are any indication, sorta in the shape of triangles!

I was a really big fan of that flying saucer.  And the music!

The real star for me was Robbie the robot,so ahead of its time he could still be used today.I don't know if anybody remembers Mr movie steve freidman but planet was his favorite movie.

In honour of the 20th Anniversary of Nirvana In Utero album, here is my favorite Nirvana autograph that was signed on November 29, 1993 In Utero Tour, Omni Arena, Atlanta, GA. Signed on a Gap Jeans. :)

Very cool! I'd love to know the story behind these and how they came into your posession. I'm really looking forward to the In Utero super duper box set. It's my favorite album of theirs, for sure.

Hi JXE,

The person I got this from was a friend of REM in Atlanta. He and his friend were at the In Utero concert at Atlanta and was invited backstage after the concert. His friend actually got Nirvana to signed on his Gap jeans and later gave it to him years later. He also provided me the ticket stub to the show.

Dave Grohl wrote " ILOVE JODACHE" because he was signing on a  Gap Jeans. I also wrote to Krist Novoselic and he remembers signing "Pee Pee Krist". Here is a pic I sent to him TTM and he signed on it.

This This Nirvana autograph has been authenticated. Read the latest Mojo magazine interview of Kurt Cobain, Dave and Krist. Very interesting. I am a big fan and collects Nirvana signed memorabilia.

This just shows how cool of a guy Krist Novoselic is. Very awesome.

J.Shea, that's a really really cool set of autos! Thanks for showing!

Very cool! I like to collect cast signatures on posters at conventions too. I don't ask for personalization on posters at conventions, but I usually do on photos at conventions. The only exception would be if I was getting a photo to complete an unpersonalized set (from a certain movie/show/etc.).

I recently did the Manson thing too. I had him write "Rock is dead" on that particular LP instead of signing it to me. He wrote "Marilyn Manson does dope" on my friends!
