The M in Mantle looks off to me...I`m sure someone else will give a better opinion.

hopefully they can weigh in on this.  I would really like to keep but if everyone thinks its bad it going back.  thanks guys

Even on a glove the m's are too smushed together and the tails are flat..I would pass

even considering that it is signed on a rough surface, it just doesn't look right.

so its forgery but good one

Not saying its a good one either just doesnt look good bro.

Looks like it was signed WAYYYY too slow for my taste. The surface is not that rough or difficult.

And why was the signature obviously signed significantly slower than the HOF 1974?

My gut reaction was "No way", I've studied this for 20 minutes considering the surface, I see a few positives, but the negatives far outweigh the positives. The "M"s are horrible and it really fell apart with me on the inscription. I'm not sure what the writing utensil was, but I see ZERO "swiftness" in this graph. IMHO not authentic. Odd surfaces are always tough, but it still doesn't explain some of the mistakes, and signing in slow motion.

I guess there no need for more pictures.  I will give this one back to him in Chicago show next month

I dont like how the last name seems all smushed together.  The M in Mantle in particular.
