This current ebay listing seems to be legit.  Any opinion on the signature or the seller before I bid?  Ebay seller is phatbat

Another question.  If I lose this one, any suggestions on dealers who sell on ebay or online where I can obtain a truly genuine DiMaggio signed baseball and know for sure it is authentic?

Stick with sellers with good feedback and buy a PSA/DNA or JSA authenticated ball and you will be as safe as you can get. Both of them are very good on Dimaggio. This ball does look to have a scuff or defect below the "O" in Dimaggio in case you didn't notice it but it is authentic in my opinion.
