I quess there should be one free plate for guest during christmas time haha xD...

Previously it was from Barry Halper Collection, sold on auction as LOT number 1170 for 3.450 and it was long time ago. That is the history that I heard.

That was in 1999. It sold in a REA auction in 2007 for $5287 in a PSA/DNA graded 10 holder. Is that when you received it?

I received it in 2007 Dec.

I don't think that the Gehrig card is filled out in his hand. I think it's filled out by the same person who filled out the Gleeson card. I think it was filled out by the person who attended the class, William Grumberg.

It's good to see that the Gehrig is on a card printed in a single color like the Ruth card. And look at how bold the other PSA/DNA Ruth you posted is.

Can you be more specific about your concerns, William?

If someone interested lmk as I need $$ quick for something bigger.

not sure if I agree that the handwriting is Gehrig's.

The card above sold at Steiner Sports for $2,484  http://auction.steinersports.com/lot-5782.aspx  (on 10/13)

Yet on this page it shows the same card went for 4,500 http://andyimperato.com/archive-of-sold-items/baseball-sold/babe-ru...

I would say the 2nd one just shows the same auction with fee's stuck into it, but the first auction says it already includes the fees?

Why such a difference in price on the same card?  Or is it the same auction?  And then how would one value A.M's.

It is not the same auction. It is not unusual for the same item to appear in multiple auctions with differing sale results.

Since the second link has no date associated with it that I see, either this seller bought the item from Steiner for $2484 and resold it for almost double that or someone previously bought it from this seller for $4500 and consigned it to Steiner and got killed losing over $2000.

A.M.'s sold in 1999 as part of the Barry Halper auction for roughly $3450 and then sold again in 2007 in the REA Auction for roughly $5300 after it was authenticated and graded 10 by PSA/DNA.

I was hoping someone knew more about how to get into the database of the 2nd one (because I saw no date either) and figured it was diff ones.  I wonder which way it went, just out of curiosity.  It would have had to be flipped pretty quick since the one auction was just in October if they turned it around for 4500.

I found on the web site that  Andy Imperato was second seller in mid November 2013 so they did indeed buy it in October through Steiner and re-sell it at almost a double a month later.

Not a bad profit in one month.
