"The seller has more items signed by him."

Of course he does. As was pointed out in the thread where you originally asked about this seller, he has a limitless supply of them going back years. He'll sell you as many of them as you want to buy.

Here's the link to your original thread for added context - http://live.autographmagazine.com/forum/topics/opinion-on-ebay-sell...

The seller has sold 43 Lichtenstein signed items in the last 3 months (not counting additional unsold ones that were offered up). Here is a random screenshot of some of his feedback from 2007.

There must be hundreds more in-between. Throw in the dozens and dozens of signed Warhols I happened to see and I can't think of many bigger red flags. 13 Warhols in the last 3 months. All priced to move. Why? And why does hardly anybody bid on most of them, even at the low price? Maybe serious art/autograph collectors are also seeing something they don't like here.

How big of a stockpile could this seller possibly have of very famous artists who died in 1997 & 1987 respectively, with no discernible proof of anything, or without even bothering to cook up a "good story" to go along with it? Is this person the executor of their estates? Because any other explanation for having this inventory falls short IMO.

As for PSA, maybe you got lucky and received a real Lichtenstein that was sprinkled in with what I believe to be a massive amount of forgeries. I hope for you that's the case. Or maybe PSA certed something a little out of their comfort zone that looks fairly close to a real signature. It would not be the first time.

"I would agree the Warhols definitely look fake"

So why would you trust this seller at all? With all due respect, I would strongly urge you not to give this person any more of your money.

to answer your question directly, I would say that PSA/DNA gets most things right.  but is that good enough to place 100% confidence in any item that carries their sticker?  its a personal decision.

for me, if its a signature I am intimately familiar with, I would trust my judgement more than theirs.

if not, then I would defer to their "expertise".  but rarely if ever, would I put 100% confidence in any of the larger TPA's opinions.
