STUDY: Jerry Lee Lewis - TTM real or not real
Steve asked me to start a new thread since some were having a lot of issues with regards to whether or not the through the mail autographs of Jerry Lee Lewis are real or not. I will post some examples of what we have been getting recently and some know in person examples. These TTM signatures are not cheap. You have to pay $50 for them to his box office box. The question is are they real or not. Roger has said that he has never seen Mr. Lewis sign this way and it looks to perfect - like a woman's signature.
Please post your thoughts here and examples.

Thanks Chad, looking forward to seeing them. Going back to the 'S' situation. Mark, the one you posted on page 1 that you got back (and we think Judith may have signed), and the ones from the R&R auctions have a similar style 'S' as opposed to the recent one Steven got back. Even more confusion!

I got the items back in the mail today. I had the images from Jerry and Judith since this past weekend but wanted to make sure the items came back to me before I posted them.

Chad, i would urge you to still have some doubt here. Unfortunately with pictures like that, you cant really tell if he signed them or not, as it doesnt prove anything. Which is what i feared he would send you. With all the headache this thread has obviously caused them, i personally didnt expect you to get different signatures. Otherwise, that would fuel the debate even more. Since they were called out on it, i personally suspect that the same person just signed your photos and then Jerry took a picture with them. That way it looks like all the TTMs have been authentic. If he hasnt been signing the items, and then suddenly gave your items authentic signatures, then it would add more credibility to this thread and to the opinion that someone else is signing them.
I am not saying they arent real. I am just saying, that unfortunatley due to the circumstances surrounding this thread and the money on the line, that the pictures he sent you, in my opinion dont really hold any validity. As, the ghost signer (if there is one), would have likely signed your items and had JLL take the pics with them, to strengthen Judiths statements that they all are real. I still would be very very cautious about assuming they are authentic b/c of those pictures.
I look forward to Roger commenting when he gets back.

Carl, I will post the pics here in a minute and I am not asking anyone to believe anything. Each should make up their own mind of course. I understand your logic and argument but don't think it is true for a couple of reasons. I have been watching documentaries and interviews on JLL the last few days and he is not a phony. He prides himself on it and has since before he became famous. He does what he wants, when he wants and is true to himself to a fault. He is not the type to perpetrate fraud. I would argue the fraud may go on around him without his knowledge or may have in the past. I don't see him pretending to sign an autograph in a picture to please a few people he doesn't know on a website he doesn't know exists.
Of course, this is just conjecture on my part as well. I was not in the house or in the presence of the items when they were signed. My feeling is that regardless of all the other signatures on this discussion, the two in the image were signed by Jerry Lee Lewis.

Here are my two items sitting on the floor in Jerry Lee and Judith's home. The image shows a black pick guard on top and the bottom is an 11X14 b&w image. I can take higher quality pictures of the items now that I have them back if that would be helpful. This was one of the photos Judith took for me. I think she took them with her phone. I'm putting a watermark on them so nobody pulls a Milton Luban on these.

The pickguard pretty much looks like the other TTMs in my opinion (minus the squiggly line). Little hard to see the 11x14, but it does share the same characteristics.
