Steve asked me to start a new thread since some were having a lot of issues with regards to whether or not the through the mail autographs of Jerry Lee Lewis are real or not.  I will post some examples of what we have been getting recently and some know in person examples.   These TTM signatures are not cheap.  You have to pay $50 for them to his box office box.  The question is are they real or not.  Roger has said that he has never seen Mr. Lewis sign this way and it looks to perfect - like a woman's signature.

Please post your thoughts here and examples.

thanks

Mark

Thanks, Chad.

Mark Shull,

Can you post a large image of this stamped autograph? I know it's been a few years, but do you have any documentation that helps prove you purchased it from JLL?

Since this discussion is long, this is the JLL autograph Ballroom pointed out was a stamped signature that matched Mark Shull's:

Steve, here are two different close up of the autograph I received from Jerry Lee Lewis in 2012. I also have an image of the cancelled check, so yes I can prove I paid for the autograph.

Mark, I removed JLL's account number. Hope you don't mind.

Thank you, I didn't mean to include it:-)

Mark,

Thanks, these three images are very helpful. How much did you pay for the autograph?

I paid $10, which I know is not alot, but that is the price set at that time. I didn't set it, Jerry Lee and his people did. If they had said $40 or $50 for a real autograph, then I would have paid it. I merely sent the amount requested.

You'll love that !

The above post, made last year, reported he received a note reading " my letter got back as well with the following inscription : "$20 hand written, $10 stamps" circled in a lovely heart !"

I think you got what you paid for. It probably was just not communicated to you.

In my letter, I requested an autographed photo. A stamped photo is not autographed, it is stamped. They should have notified me if that was the case. Who in their right mind would pay for a stamped photo? I certainly wouldn't!
