JSA is passing fake autographs by the hundreds for eBay seller dirty_water_ink

musicandmore-nyc and gothamcitygraphs

Study these autographs protect yourself!!

I came across these two sites while searching eBay. Not a single item is authentic, I am almost sure that this is the same forgery ring that circulated the mass amount of forgeries that GAI was passing 1-2 years back, you may be familiar with the eBay name dirty_water_ink, well I am no professional but I can say that I fell victim to a forgery sold by that seller and since then I dedicated some of my free time to study the forgeries they were producing to protect myself (even after they changed their user I.D. to hide) probably more than anyone I know, and I am 100% sure that this is dirty_water_ink, only this time JSA is passing the items!!!!!!! Shame on you JSA. I guess it is true what they say about the company being ran by children!

How can JSA be considered more credible than GAI if they are passing the same forgeries that GAI stopped passing?

I doubt that. I doubt he would create a fictitious name like this. Steve Sipe would not make the mistake of comparing to GAI.

He would if he is trying to claim GAI and GA are not the same company. If you read through the post he refers everything to GAI and not GA and even made a comment that JSA is certing the forgeries that GAI stopped certing. I think the statement was made in an attempt to show that GA/GAI is not certing forgeries anymore. This and the fact that Steve Cyrkin just so happened to receive a text message from Sipe only an hour prior to the initial post being made is too much of a coincidence in my opinion.

Just seems odd since he has spent so much time trying to show both companies were separate entities to now relating them closely. Just don't think he would do that. I don't see the value in it.

I looked and Rick Johnson became a member on June 10th of this year, and his main reason for joining the site is "3rd party authentications"  Maybe your on to something here

I looked at the items that I am familiar with and they look fine to me (including the Derek Jeter Jersey). I think this might be a fishing expedition or someone out to harm these sellers. I remember seeing some of the items from dirty water ink and I don't really see the connection to these accounts.

IMO, the Roger Waters signed LPs don't look authentic

Roger is the full time music authenticator for jsa. To me that means that every music item jsa passes has his approval. Perhaps he can step in and clarify if this is not true, and maybe explain just what his role there is.

Before any of us gets too carried away here, let's look at this stuff in a very methodical and unemotional manner.

I will have more to write on this soon.

Let's not jump to any conclusions yet.

Chris I think we can agree that this Derek Jeter signed jersey is Authentic.

Where do we begin for all of you rookies, take each players/celebs graph and look at them as a whole just like with Roger Waters and you will notice how all of the graphs lack spontaneity - they are all scripted i.e. forgeries.  Do your self a favor and call eBay and ask them what account was linked to both of these accounts to be able to list over $25,000 in memorabilia without any selling feedback. You guys have to be familiar with eBay selling policies by now. Look its one thing to not want to deal with the issue it is another to try to cover it up. The fact of the matter is these 500+ items (which many were lettered) are 1,000% fake and the same exact forgeries GAI was certing 1-2 years ago. Does anyone on this site know who dirty_water_ink is or what their real name is?
