Hi Hannah

The John Young "jump and salute" signed photo appears to be authentic in my opinion. FMV for this pose with this inscription is $500 and up. I've seen them go as high as $750 if I recall correctly. You'd be hard pressed to get one for under $500.

First thanks for the fast answer,

$ 850 is the offer... (8x10)
I hope you win it!

thanks for your answer, the question is , is  it too expensive?

John Young signatures have been skyrocketing. For all intents and purposes, he won't be signing any more and he hasn't effectively signed for a few years. $850 does not surprise me, but I would hold out for less.

the specials are very scarce. Actually I am looking for a larger one. Should I do it?

I avoid oversized items. They are nice, but a limited collector audience. Most space collectors stick to 8x10s.
mmmh, you're right. I think I will accept the offer. since there is no alternative to the time, also in the size of 8 x 10

again many thanks for your assessment and your recommendation.

You are very welcome.

Wow... Is that your collection?
Unfortunately, it is not my collection, but I'm working on it. currently I have 60 autographs signed by the apollo astronauts.

I like the collection listed below because of the size and the inscriptions on the photos.

The Collection:

Leslie Cantwell first began collecting signed and inscribed Apollo photos in 1981 with an autographed print by astronaut Jim Irwin, the eighth man to walk on the moon. In the three decades since, he has sought to pair large format photos with the astronauts’ handwritten notes, culling inspiration from classic works of literature and the lunar voyagers own words. The result, an exhibition called “Reflections: Images of Apollo”
