Good Pink Floyd Forgeries. Be careful.
These are popping up all over now. Alone, they are really good but when you have a few right in front of you it's telling. Two of them are signed in the exact same spots for God's sake. Forgers crack me up. HINT: Real floyds are messy, signed with different pens etc... that is cause they took 20 years to finish. By far they are the hardest band to complete and most of the original autograph hounds from the early 90's haven't even done so. Few have.

I'd be happy to help Scott. But if you want a real Floyd complete on a vinyl record you will have to pay up for it. They are not cheap and rightfully so but I'd rather spend double on a real on then risk getting burned on a good fake.

I agree if I knew about this site I would not have lost $500.00 on that bogus Dark Side of the Moon yet on the other hand I would spend $1500.00 for the real thing but, like I say that's just me. Scott

Yes I had started a thread on this copy of Dark Side of the Moon a couple of days ago. Everyone agrees $13,999.99 is way over the top for any Pink Floyd record (Other then maybe an original "See Emily Play" signed by the late Mr. Sid Barret and the band) I saved a copy of the .jpg to compare with. 100% real, and very cool. This was obtain by a fellow in the UK (they are not all bad) and sold for around 2 grand at first, it has bounced around since. It has some condition issues but I feel it's worth $4500, to 5k.

Scott, just saw your original thread, but thought I'd comment here... it's a shame to see such a fantastic piece stay in the hands of a dealer rather than a fan. It definitely has condition issues, but to hear it's bounced around is also disheartening.
I might never be able to afford that, whether it being their asking price or even the estimated market value, but if I could, it would be on my wall, passed down to my kids, and hopefully never to see the marketplace again.

If it were a single source it would be easy to fix, but its not. It's from the person that try's to fake the signatures and pass them off as real, the person that buys it for $50.00 and wants to sell it for $10,000.00 not caring if its Genuine or not, to the guy that paid $500.00 for a signed Dark Side of the Moon, learns its a forgery but resells it anyway because they don't want to get stuck with it. There is no quick and easy answer however, eBay has turned into a heaven for the people that are selling forgeries since their rules tend to protect them. Scott

I see them mostly on these random auction sites but the dozens. I am fairly sure the are out of the UK but I could be wrong. I saw two on ebay PSA'd about a year ago. The scary think is these are pretty good and will fool most people out of context.

I actually saw these on autograph .net a little while ago.they were asking about 5 k for the dsotm.crazy.
